Conveyancer - Residential Property - Cardiff
HCB Widdows Mason is currently on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our thriving residential property team. This position is perfect for an individual who is passionate about property law and is keen to provide exceptional client service.
As a Conveyancer at HCB Widdows Mason, your duties will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Conducting property searches and scrutinising contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the transaction process.
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders, fostering positive relationships.
- Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry and handling related documentation.
- Ensuring all transactions are compliant with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property law and legislative changes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Conveyancer with experience in residential property transactions.
- Experience of New Build would be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of conveyancing processes and property legislation.
- Strong client management and communication skills.
- Proficient in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Membership with the Law Society or equivalent professional body is desirable.
