Approach
Amy joined HCB Solicitors in 2018, becoming Head of Family Law Department (North) in April 2022. She has specialised in Family Law since 2005, qualifying as a solicitor in January 2009.
Understanding the impact of the emotive and sensitive nature of her work, Amy approaches each case with an empathic, yet pragmatic view, offering constructive and proactive advice.
She has a particular interest in cases involving children and domestic abuse where she is a Resolution Accredited Specialist.
Amy is regularly instructed in cases involving children’s social services; often representing parties in proceedings facing serious allegations of sexual harm and non accidental injury. She also works closely with a number of local agencies supporting victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
